Josh grew up in Platte City, Missouri and graduated from Platte County High School. Josh attended the University of Missouri - Kansas City. He graduated from college with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science in 2007 and subsequently graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City Law School in 2010.

Prior to Josh starting his own law firm, he worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Johnson County, Kansas for approximately 10 years. Throughout his career in the District Attorney's Office, Josh prosecuted hundreds of cases ranging from traffic offenses, sex offenses to homicides. Being a son of an United States Air Force Veteran, Josh was an important part of the formation and success of the Johnson County Veteran's Treatment Court.

Josh lives in Johnson County, Kansas, where he takes pride in raising his two young boys. He loves Nebraska Football, being outdoors, and coaching his boys in sports. If you don't find Josh in court or in his office, you'll see him on the sidelines living out his childhood dreams through his boys.
